Thank you for offering this innovative Martial Arts program, and for your dedication and commitment to our students…an opportunity for students to concentrate on developing their focus, concentration, discipline and physical fitness.
— Elaine Crawford | Ontario Public School Board – Trustee

Karate Kids helps to emphasize a non-violent approach to problem solving. Karate Kids has been running in this school for years and has had a wonderful response from the students.... The instructors are of the highest quality and are committed to excellence.
— Ed Brand | Principal, Polson Park Public School, Kingston, ON

I think very highly of the organization and the instructors and that is why it is my pleasure to be a referral for any schools considering bringing in the Karate Kids program for the first time.
The instructors and managers have proven themselves to be prompt, courteous, flexible, patient and well-organized. Their customer service and quality of program has been consistent throughout the past 7 years. The program promotes focus, character values and is inclusive to all students with varying learning profiles. The environment created by Karate Kids is safe and controlled and is an engaging place for kids to learn and grow. If we can reach more children to engage in physical fitness by offering the Karate Kids program then we have a better chance at teaching them the importance of regular physical activity while they build self-confidence. It is my pleasure to endorse this program and recommend without condition. My experience with Karate Kids has been excellent and we look forward to working with this organization in the years to come.
— Wendy Thompson | Redstone P.S (formerly at Nellie McClung and JR Bell) YRDSB

I am pleased to share that two of the students with special needs I work with are currently registered and are enjoying the Karate Kids program. The facilitators/instructors are welcoming and they go out of their way to engage my students. The program is helping promote physical activity and inclusion.

The structured setting helps them stay focused on tasks - learning new moves and practising ones that they already learned in previous classes. The Karate Kids program is a great opportunity got students with special needs to learn a new skill in a supported environment.

Having Karate Kids in school is equally worthwhile for students and parents who may otherwise not have the time and/or means to attend extra-curricular activities. They have also made the program accessible by offering scholarships to some students.

Thank you for offering the Karate Kids program to the students at Sherwood Mills.
